Job description
- Serve as the firm’s senior IT resource, providing Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III support for all attorneys and staff across the organization
- Administer and optimize the full Microsoft 365 environment including Azure/Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Manage the firm’s network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VPN services, internet connectivity, and virtual server environments
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including coordination with outside vendors, vulnerability remediation, MFA administration, security awareness training, and incident response
- Administer backup systems and own disaster recovery planning and business continuity procedures firm-wide
- Support and administer legal technology platforms including Centerbase, NetDocuments, Everlaw, iSolved, and other practice management and document management systems
- Evaluate and implement new legal technologies and AI solutions that improve firm efficiency and client service
- Provide audiovisual and conference room technology support for meetings, depositions, and presentations
- Travel with litigation teams as needed to provide trial technology support including courtroom setup, war room configuration, and on-site troubleshooting
- Manage software deployments, licensing renewals, vendor relationships, and technology project execution

Requirements
Do you have a valid Bar license?, Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Note: Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of IT experience specifically at a law firm, with strong Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Active Directory, and network administration skills. Law firm IT experience is not preferred - it is required. Candidates without direct law firm backgrounds will not be considered., * 5+ years of progressively responsible IT experience at a law firm - required; non-law firm IT backgrounds will not be considered
- Deep proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Active Directory, and Group Policy administration
- Solid network administration experience including firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless infrastructure
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management, and incident response
- Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms and virtual server environments
- Hands-on experience with NetDocuments, iManage, or comparable legal document management systems
- Familiarity with legal practice management platforms such as Centerbase, Everlaw, or similar
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and end-user support skills
- Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and professional - able to manage competing priorities independently
- Willingness and ability to travel with trial teams as needed, * law firm IT systems admin: 5 years (Required)
