Data Analyst - Logistics Business Improvement

We are seeking a technically strong, business-minded Data Analyst to support transportation logistics visibility, supply chain performance analytics, and business improvement initiatives across global operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex business problems with data, and can turn analytics into actionable operational insights., As the Logistics Business Improvement Data Analyst, you will serve as the analytics subject matter expert (SME) supporting logistics transparency, transportation performance, and supply chain optimization initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, operations teams, and IT partners to develop reporting tools, automate analytics, and improve decision-making across the organization., * Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytics tools that provide real-time operational visibility

• Analyze transportation and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, exceptions, and improvement opportunities
• Develop standardized reporting frameworks and scalable reporting processes
• Perform root cause analysis and generate actionable recommendations for logistics and transportation performance improvements
• Support business process improvement initiatives across commercial logistics and supply chain operations
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on SAP-related reporting enhancements and system improvements
• Create and maintain SharePoint or similar collaboration/data environments
• Deliver analytics projects end-to-end within defined timelines
• Support benchmarking, carrier performance analysis, rail maintenance tracking, truck retains, runouts, overfills, and related logistics metrics
• Translate business requirements into technical reporting and data solutions
• Support sustainability of operational improvements through KPI ownership and performance tracking
• Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, MIS, Business, Analytics, or a related field

• Experience in commercial supply chain, transportation, or logistics operations

• Strong technical analytics background with hands-on experience in: *

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
• Proven ability to independently manage analytics projects from development through delivery
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience building or maintaining SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational, prioritization, and adaptability skills, * Advanced degree in analytics or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience supporting commercial, procurement, transportation, or logistics functions
• Experience with SAP SD or SAP S/4 HANA
• Oil and gas logistics industry experience
• Knowledge of supply chain transaction processing and transportation operations
