Systems Analyst 2 - SA 26-06471

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support application development and system enhancement initiatives for a state-level client. The role involves understanding business objectives, analyzing system capabilities, and recommending effective solutions while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Analyze business objectives and operational procedures to identify system improvements and automation opportunities

• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Create use cases, workflows, acceptance criteria, and system documentation
• Perform cost/benefit analysis and evaluate alternative solutions
• Ensure system design complies with established standards
• Conduct testing including test data preparation, execution, and defect resolution
• Provide status updates and communicate risks/issues to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, DBAs, project managers)
• Maintain updates in ticketing systems and ensure transparency
• Facilitate knowledge transfer through documentation and training sessions

Do you have experience in Technical writing within technology?, * 5+ years of experience in Medicaid Claims Processing

• Strong experience in business analysis and solution identification
• Expertise in gathering and documenting user requirements
• Experience writing detailed functional and technical documentation
• Experience in cost/benefit analysis
• Ability to define input/output formats and reporting requirements
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and wireframing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of IT industry trends, architecture concepts, and emerging technologies
• Understanding of data integrity, security practices, and standards
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, * Experience with State DIR Project Delivery Framework
• Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and data management
• Knowledge of software architecture and infrastructure components
