Job description

CorrecTek is seeking an experienced medical billing professional to join our growing Medical & Correctional Billing Solutions Unit.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in:

  • medical billing
  • claims processing
  • billing operations management
  • practice management software implementations

who is looking to expand beyond traditional medical billing into implementation, workflow optimization, and revenue cycle operations within a software development-driven environment.

This is not a traditional “claims processing” position. The role combines operational billing expertise with:

  • workflow support
  • software implementation coordination
  • operational problem-solving
  • and revenue cycle process improvement

You will work closely with:

  • correctional healthcare clients
  • internal CorrecTek teams
  • and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) partners

to support scalable billing operations within the CorrecTek platform., * Support onboarding and implementation of billing functionality

  • Assist with billing workflow setup and optimization
  • Support claims-processing operations and workflow troubleshooting
  • Participate in practice management and workflow implementation activities
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external billing partners
  • Assist with workflow testing, validation, and operational support
  • Help improve billing processes and operational efficiency

Requirements

Do you have experience in Medical claim denial management?, 3-5+ years of experience in:

  • medical billing
  • claims processing
  • revenue cycle operations
  • or practice management operations

Strong understanding of:

  • claims lifecycle
  • reimbursement workflows
  • denials management
  • billing operations

Experience with:

  • EMR systems
  • Practice Management systems
  • or healthcare software platforms

Experience participating in:

  • PM/EMR implementations
  • workflow rollouts
  • or operational system transitions

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • Supervising or mentoring billing staff
  • Workflow optimization or systems support
  • RCM/vendor coordination
  • Correctional healthcare experience
