Job description

Create impactful solutions and scalable systems that deliver value to our customers while maintaining agility, scalability, and superior engineering quality.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and build backend systems using C#, Node.js, and event-driven architectures that support large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.

  • Break down complex technical problems into small, clearly defined, and achievable pieces of work for yourself and your team.

  • Use AI-assisted tools to increase development velocity, automate repetitive work, and reduce time-to-production.

  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to bring business goals to life through pragmatic, well-structured solutions.

  • Architect, document, and own large-scale software projects, ensuring system resilience and observability.

  • Mentor and guide other engineers to improve both their craft and decision-making process.

  • Embed testing (unit, integration, and E2E) naturally into development for long-term maintainability.

  • Participate in regular code reviews that value clarity, simplicity, and progress over perfection.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience

  • Proficiency in C# and/or Node.js for developing server-side applications

  • EF Core

  • Microservice architectures

  • Event Driven Architectures

  • Stream Processing

  • Database Management & Design (SQL, NoSQL). Knowledge of Couchbase a plus

  • Containerization and orchestration

  • Deploying scalable, highly available, distributed systems

  • AWS Services (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, OpenSearch, CloudFront, S3)

  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, and consumption

  • Familiarity with Devops patterns & CI/CD pipelines

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Observability (Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting)

  • Testing (Unit, Integration, and E2E tests)

  • API and general Security Principles for encryption, input validation, rate limiting

  • Exposure to Domain Driven Design (DDD)

  • Experience migrating from monolithic to micro frontend architectures.

Superpowers:

  • Extreme Ownership. You own the outcomes, drive initiatives, and solve problems proactively. If you need direction and someone to hold your hand, this job is not for you.

  • Customer Obsessed. Everything we build should leave our customers saying, “Aw dip. This product is off the charts cool. Whoever wrote that code deserves a raise!”

  • Proactive Learning. You stay ahead of the curve, continuously learning and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

  • Team Commitment. You build, mentor, and lead a high-performance engineering team that delivers results together.

  • Self Awareness. You know your strengths, weaknesses, and how to surround yourself with the right talent to succeed.
