Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team in Minneapolis. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable software solutions that power critical business operations and customer-facing platforms.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leadership, Quality Assurance teams, and fellow Software Engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality software while maintaining performance, security, and scalability standards.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Core business hours typically between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Hybrid work arrangement available following onboarding
• Occasional flexibility may be required to support deployments or critical production issues
• Collaborative and team-oriented engineering environment

Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and services
• Build scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions that support business objectives
• Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services

Technical Leadership

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes
• Contribute to long-term technical roadmaps and platform improvements
• Assist in evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Management to refine requirements and technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimation activities
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality and successful releases
• Communicate project status, technical challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning

Do you have experience in System design for system development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level applications
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
