Job description

Seeking an experienced API Developer & Application Analyst to support an Epic Research Team responsible for healthcare data integration, interoperability, and clinical research system connectivity. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Epic integrations, HL7/FHIR standards, interface development, and healthcare application support., * Develop, implement, and maintain integrations between Epic EHR and third-party research applications

  • Design, build, and support HL7 and FHIR interfaces and APIs
  • Develop and maintain integrations with Epic, REDCap, and university-based applications
  • Configure, enhance, and support Epic Research workflows and functionality
  • Integrate Epic with clinical research platforms such as OnCore and SPARC
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure secure healthcare data exchange
  • Troubleshoot, test, monitor, and support production interfaces and applications
  • Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Support interoperability initiatives across healthcare and research environments

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * Epic Bridges Certification

  • 7+ years of Epic technical build, integration, and support experience
  • Strong experience with Cloverleaf Interface Engine
  • Advanced knowledge of HL7 standards and messaging
  • Strong FHIR API development and integration experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining healthcare interfaces and APIs
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and EHR integration, * Epic Research application experience
  • Experience with REDCap integrations
  • Experience with OnCore research platform integrations
  • Experience with SPARC integrations
  • Clinical research systems experience
  • Healthcare data exchange and interoperability expertise
