Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to support federal government cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives. This role will serve as the technical lead responsible for designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services, AI/ML technologies, and contact center platforms. The Cloud Solutions Architect will provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, establish architectural standards, and serve as the primary technical decision authority for complex cloud implementations., * Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-scale AWS cloud solutions supporting federal agency missions.
- Develop end-to-end technical architectures that align with business, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud strategy, solution design, and architectural governance.
- Design and oversee integration architectures between cloud services, enterprise applications, AI/ML platforms, and contact center solutions.
- Configure and guide implementation of AWS AI/ML services and conversational AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, program managers, engineers, and government clients to define technical requirements and solution roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative cloud and AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure architectures comply with federal security and compliance standards, including NIST, FedRAMP, and agency-specific requirements.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation, testing, deployment, and operational transition.
- Create and maintain architectural diagrams, design documentation, technical standards, and implementation guidance.

This position provides an opportunity to lead the design and delivery of innovative cloud and AI-powered solutions supporting critical federal government missions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting conversational AI, virtual assistant, intelligent chatbot, or contact center technology implementations.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise cloud architecture strategies and solution designs.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions within AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, security architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience leading technical design discussions and making architecture decisions across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification.
- Experience supporting federal government or government contractor (GovCon) programs.
- Experience with Amazon Connect, Lex, Bedrock, Contact Center AI, or similar conversational AI platforms.
- Experience integrating cloud solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, CRM platforms, and data services.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK), and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of AI/ML services including natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and intelligent automation solutions.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
Clearance Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher security clearance, as required by the contract.
- U.S. Citizenship may be required based on contract requirements.
