Job description

Pensar is looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help build the future of offensive security software. You’ll work closely with security researchers, product managers, and other engineers to design, develop, and maintain our core platform and open source tooling. This role requires a passion for clean code, product excellence, and a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services
  • Collaborate with security researchers to translate pentesting workflows into intuitive and efficient user experiences
  • Build and enhance APIs, UI components, and integrations with customer environments
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Work with open source projects and contribute to the evolution of Pensar’s tooling
  • Help shape the technical roadmap and architectural direction alongside leadership

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * 3+ years of professional full stack development experience

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language such as Go, Python, or Node.js
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Passion for building secure, reliable, and maintainable software
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or interest in cybersecurity or offensive security
  • Experience working in open source communities or contributing to security-related projects
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
