Job description
You are an IT Associate with 1-2 years of experience providing technical support in a business or enterprise IT environment-particularly supporting Federal government contracts and programs. You will be able to work from your home office, while occasionally traveling to the Chantilly main office in suburban Washington, DC.
What does your day/week look like? You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical specialists supporting work for the EPA, DOD, and other Federal, State, local government, and commercial clients. You will: provide technical support to employees, assisting with the deployment and maintenance of information technology systems; develop custom software solutions to improve business operations; and contribute to regulatory compliance programs, including NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
- Develop NIST and CMMC documentation
- Programming custom internal programs
- Help Desk
- Deploy End User devices
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Computer Science BS or equivalent work experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience
- Ability to travel as required.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must possess documentation sufficient to satisfy federal identification requirements for domestic air travel and access to government or client facilities, including a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, REAL ID-compliant identification card, or valid U.S. Passport.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- C, C++, Java
- SQL
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, cybersecurity best practices, and information technology terminology preferred.
