Mainframe application development & support
Batch job scheduling and monitoring
Production support and incident management
Data integration and reconciliation
Performance tuning and troubleshooting

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with:
COBOL development
DB2 database
IBM MQ
IBM MVS / Mainframe environment
Automic / CA7 scheduler
SQL development
UNIX/Linux commands
ETL processing
SFTP file handling
Oracle and/or SQL Server integration, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
5-10 years of experience in mainframe development
Experience in enterprise environments (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare preferred)
Familiarity with SDLC, release management, and production support
Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus, * Experience with JCL and batch troubleshooting
Knowledge of VSAM and flat file processing
Exposure to shell scripting
Experience with mainframe + distributed system integration
Familiarity with change management and deployment tools, * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication (verbal & written)
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
High attention to detail and ownership mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive approach to issue resolution and improvement
