Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver complex infrastructure initiatives within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing large-scale IT projects, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and hands-on experience working with core infrastructure technologies including networking, firewalls, and cybersecurity.

This role will partner closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to critical business and patient care operations., * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure projects.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive project governance, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision-making sessions.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with organizational objectives, security requirements, and operational standards.
  • Manage change initiatives while minimizing impact to end users and patient care environments.
  • Oversee vendor coordination and third-party project activities as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects.
  • Proven success delivering complex IT infrastructure initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies, firewalls, and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and technical teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within healthcare organizations or healthcare IT environments.
  • Understanding of how infrastructure changes impact clinical operations and patient care.
  • PMP or related project management certification preferred.
