Job description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at VigorCare Pediatric Services, you will be responsible for protecting our organization from cyber threats and ensuring the security of our information systems. You will work closely with our IT team to implement and maintain security protocols and procedures, and you will be the point person for responding to any cybersecurity incidents., Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect our organization’s information systems and data

  • Monitor our network for any potential security breaches and take immediate action to mitigate risks
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, and make recommendations for improvements to our systems
  • Train employees on cybersecurity best practices and protocols to ensure compliance and awareness
  • Respond to and investigate any cybersecurity incidents, and provide reports and recommendations to management
  • Work closely with our IT team to ensure that security measures are integrated into all systems and processes
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure their compliance with our cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure the security of our systems in the event of a cyber attack or other emergency situation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are a plus.
