Job description

  • Monitor computer networks for security vulnerabilities and incidents.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity events.
  • Document security incidents and assess potential damage.
  • Collaborate with security teams to conduct network vulnerability assessments, including penetration testing.
  • Remediate identified vulnerabilities to uphold high security standards.
  • Recommend and help implement cybersecurity best practices.
  • Install and maintain cybersecurity measures including firewalls and encryption programs.
  • Conduct forensic analysis, confirm intrusion attempts, and create forensically sound file duplicates.
  • Decrypt data and prepare clear technical summaries.
  • Perform dynamic analysis involving timeline reconstruction, statistical evaluation, and file signature assessment.
  • Respond in real time to cyber incidents and support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with a DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Splunk Enterprise Security

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
  • GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) certification
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • Fast-paced, secure operations center
  • Working on a computer for long periods of time.
  • May involve long period of sitting at a desk.
  • The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
