Job description
The Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support multiple Scrum Teams within the Cash & Liquidity domain. This role is responsible for ensuring successful release execution, driving Agile best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver strategic business initiatives., Release & Delivery Management
- Monitor and maintain the overall health of releases across multiple Scrum Teams.
- Understand Cash & Liquidity strategic priorities and guide planning efforts to ensure delivery alignment.
- Manage project risks and issues, escalating concerns appropriately when necessary.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of project objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders to define project requirements, expectations, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and management by providing regular updates on project status, risks, dependencies, and progress.
- Facilitate conflict resolution through arbitration, negotiation, and reasoned discussions.
Agile & SAFe Leadership
- Organize, facilitate, and lead all core Agile ceremonies, including:
- Project Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Planning
- Release Planning
- Reviews & Retrospectives
- Demos
- Provide servant leadership to Scrum Teams and lead by example.
- Guide teams in consistently applying SAFe principles, practices, and values.
- Lead, coach, and mentor teams and the broader organization in Scrum adoption and Agile maturity.
Team Enablement & Execution
- Collaborate closely with teams to build product backlogs, prioritize work, and ensure effective execution.
- Identify and remove impediments by engaging the appropriate stakeholders and resources.
- Track and manage Agile delivery metrics, including:
- Product Backlog
- Burn-down Metrics
- Velocity
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, * Strong hands-on experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).
- Solid understanding of SAFe Agile and Agile project management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong collaboration and negotiation abilities.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required.
- SAFe RTE Certification preferred.
