  • Champion a culture of experimentation and innovation while ensuring clear, effective communication across the ART and with internal and external stakeholders, aligning teams toward shared objectives and outcomes.
  • Facilitate Government customer meetings between Baltimore and Washington D.C.
  • Strong reporting skills using Confluence and JIRA for backlog, program increment progress, velocity, predictability and more
  • Focus on standardization for the ART based on product support needs and best practices on delivery of clear picture.
  • Proactively manage ART-level risks, impediments, and inter-team dependencies, working closely with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve complex issues that could threaten delivery progress.
  • Drive relentless improvements for the ART
  • Fostering collaboration between teams and stakeholders
  • Optimizing the flow of value through the ART
  • Share insights with the leadership group and stakeholders
  • Manage expectations to protect the ART and teams
  • Provide targeted mentorship and support to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, ART leaders, and team members as needed to strengthen skills, foster collaboration, and meet ongoing operational needs.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate physical residency in the U.S. for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field and ten (10) or more years of experience. SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification is highly desirable.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience working as an RTE in large-scale development projects with a thorough understanding of Lean, Agile, and Scrum principles. Candidates should possess a practical track record of driving organizational agility and transformation guided by these methodologies.
  • A commitment to servant leadership, focused on empowering teams, removing barriers to progress, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. Ability to support team growth and success through mentorship and facilitation rather than directive management.
  • Proven ability to expertly guide large groups through complex planning, decision-making, and problem-solving sessions. Skilled at ensuring meetings are well-structured, productive, and result in actionable outcomes.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation capabilities, enabling effective articulation of concepts and building robust relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, from technical staff to executive leadership.
  • Capacity to analyze systemic challenges and lead teams toward sustainable, data-driven solutions. Adept at diagnosing root causes and navigating ambiguity with clarity and composure.
  • A holistic approach to understanding the interconnectedness between the ART and the greater value stream, enabling strategic alignment and optimal value delivery across the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching individuals and teams to adopt and refine Lean-Agile practices, fostering skill development and high performance throughout the ART.
