Legacy Systems Transformation Leader

• Assess legacy application portfolios and develop modernization roadmaps
• Define target-state architectures and cloud transformation strategies
• Lead application migration, re-platforming, refactoring, and modernization initiatives
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, and GCP technologies
• Develop technical blueprints and modernization frameworks
• Lead cross-functional teams through modernization, testing, deployment, and adoption efforts
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies throughout transformation programs
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align modernization efforts with organizational objectives
• Establish governance, operating models, and best practices for modernized environments
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple teams and programs

• Strong experience leading enterprise application modernization initiatives
• Expertise with legacy platform transformation, cloud migration, and modernization strategies
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Knowledge of application re-platforming, refactoring, and modernization methodologies
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and scalable application design
• Experience leading large transformation programs involving multiple stakeholders and delivery teams
• Excellent communication, consulting, and executive presentation skills

Preferred

• Experience modernizing mainframe or iSeries environments
• Knowledge of modernization platforms and migration toolsets
• Experience with cloud operating models, governance, and organizational change initiatives
• Experience within consulting or enterprise transformation environments
