Quality Lead Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Lead Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence quality systems and collaborate across departments to achieve operational excellence., * · Evaluates incoming raw ingredients. Acquires retained samples if necessary.· Performs special analytical testing as necessary.· Supports and backs-up the lab and quality technicians.· Fills sample requests for customers and outside labs.· Arranges testing based on customer specifications and manages associated documentation.· Records and manages micro results received. Generates appropriate Certificates of Analysis and disseminates information as requested.· Monitors the On-Hold process and creates resulting inventory adjustments.· Manages audit programs with the knowledge and ability to make corrective actions.· Oversee all lab administrative duties such as record keeping, documentation, and data collection, as required. Oversee and ensure all production quality, safety and operational records are maintained accurately and completely.· Keep the plant and documents prepared for audits at all times.· Keep the lab stocked with supplies. Contact vendors to order supplies and issue PO’s.· Maintain updated SOP’s and forms in Document Control.· Provide a strong presence on the floor to assure compliance to process controls and to support operations.

· Assist and train lab and operation employees on all aspects of Quality and Food Safety.

· Total understanding of all finished product lines and quality standards.

· Manage training sessions and assist in the training of assigned employees in order to foster a safe, efficient work environment.

· Support in the investigation of customer complaints.

Do you have experience in Customer complaint resolution?, * · Must have working knowledge of quality assurance operations and procedures. Previous Quality Technician position is a prerequisite.

· Working understanding of sanitation and good manufacturing practices.

· Oral and written communication skills including computer and data entry skills.

· Proficient at Word, PowerPoint and Excel

· Demonstrates good inter-personal skills and works well with fellow employees, departments and supervisors. Expectations are for employees to be conscientious and treat others with openness, integrity and respect including a dedication to high quality standards for job and company.

· Expectations are to look for ways to improve operating efficiencies and identify any safety and/or quality issues/suggestions for the improvement of process/production.
