Sr. Database Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Database Administrator to support and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database 19c environments. This role will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, cloud migration initiatives, disaster recovery, and production support across enterprise systems. This role is a hybrid position, on-site 3 days per week. This is a contract position and will pay up to $70/hr. C2C cannot be supported in this opportunity., * Administer and support Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle Database 19c environments.

• Perform installations, upgrades, patching, cloning, backup, and recovery activities.
• Support Oracle EBS migrations and administration within Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor and optimize database and application performance.
• Manage disaster recovery environments, including Data Guard administration and DR testing.
• Troubleshoot Oracle EBS, WebLogic, Workflow, Forms, and related application issues.
• Develop automation scripts and support ongoing operational improvements.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure system reliability and availability.

Do you have experience in UNIX?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration and Oracle EBS administration experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2, Oracle 19c, Linux/Unix, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments, RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Exadata, ASM, TDE, and Oracle APEX experience.
• Experience with CommVault, ServiceNow, Quest STAT, and change management processes.
• Scripting experience with Shell and/or Perl.
