Junior System Administrator

We are currently searching for a Junior System Administrator to join our Office Automation team. Do you want to grow in IT administration and work in an environment where Microsoft 365, devices, user management and infrastructure come together every day?

Your role

In this role you will support colleagues with IT-related questions and help manage and improve our IT environment. You will start with practical system administration tasks, such as user management, access rights and support requests. Step by step, you will take on more responsibility in system administration, security, automation and infrastructure.

You will not solely solve issues, but also learn to understand the root cause and improve processes where possible.

What you will do

As a Junior System Administrator, your tasks will include:

• Managing user accounts, permissions and groups in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Managing Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Supporting colleagues with laptop, printer, scanner and peripheral issues.
• Managing licenses and application access.
• Supporting SSO configurations for internal and external applications.
• Troubleshooting user issues at 1st and 2nd line support level.
• Contributing to improvements in IT processes and documentation.
• Supporting basic network administration, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi and cabling.
• Supporting Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Assisting with patching, updates and security-related tasks.
• Getting familiar with Microsoft Azure as part of our growing cloud environment.
• IT documentation and operational processes.

We work with technologies and tools such as:

• Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure
• Entra ID, Exchange Online
• Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Windows, MacOS, Linux
• Veeam Backup & replication
• PowerShell

Do you have experience in macOS?, We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, practical and service-oriented. You do not need to know everything yet, but you should be motivated to grow within system administration.

You are a good fit for this role if you:

• Have an interest in Microsoft 365, system administration and infrastructure.
• Have basic knowledge of Windows, user management and IT support.
• Enjoy investigating and solving technical issues.
• Work accurately with permissions, accounts and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Are willing to learn new technologies.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Have an interest in automation, security and cloud administration.
