System Administrator

A Midwest Republican Senator’s office is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure while providing excellent support to the Senator and staff. You will maintain user access, asset inventory, cybersecurity compliance, and telecommunications systems for the office. You’ll work across hardware, software, networking, cloud systems, and security to keep our operations running smoothly., * Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.

• Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and systems issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Oversee user account creation, access permissions, and system security protocols.
• Manage updates, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Support cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365) as needed.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with IT projects, deployments, upgrades, and rollouts.

Do you have experience in iOS support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 2-5+ years of experience in system administration or IT support.

• Strong knowledge of Windows and IOS environments.
• Proficiency with networking concepts (VPN, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (SARA).
• Familiarity with cloud services and identity management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
