Tier 3 System Administrator Lead

Senior systems engineer responsible for the operational integrity of all servers (on-premise, virtual, and cloud) in a Google Workspace and AWS hybrid federal environment.

What you will do

• Own the health, performance, patching, and lifecycle of physical, virtual (VMware), and cloud (AWS) servers.

• Administer Active Directory/ADFS, identity, certificate services, and storage (Dell PowerScale/Unity, Cohesity backups).

• Lead incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and recovery for server and infrastructure issues; support 24x7 escalation.

• Execute patch and configuration management through the change-control process; maintain documentation and runbooks.

Do you have experience in Windows support?, Expert-level Linux and Windows server administration and shell scripting.

• 5+ years in enterprise systems administration, including virtualization and cloud (AWS).

• Experience with Active Directory, backup/restore, and storage systems.

• Able to obtain U.S. federal suitability/badging; onsite in Washington, DC.

Preferred

• AWS or Microsoft certification; VMware (VCP).

• Federal experience; experience with PowerScale/Cohesity and ITIL processes.
