Job description

Seeking a hands-on Stepwise Developer with strong insurance domain expertise to build and maintain rating algorithms, pricing logic, and product configurations within the ABACUS/Stepwise platform. This is a techno-functional role working closely with underwriting, actuarial, and IT teams., * Develop rating algorithms, pricing logic, and product configurations using Stepwise

  • Perform system configuration changes (rates, tables, outputs, structures)
  • Translate business/underwriting requirements into system functionality
  • Work with business, IT, and vendors to ensure timely delivery & quality
  • Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data using SQL & Excel
  • Support defect tracking, production support, and enhancements
  • Monitor system performance and ensure business continuity
  • Provide end-user support, reporting, and documentation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, * Strong Stepwise / ABACUS development experience

  • Strong programming & logical problem-solving skills
  • SQL (Mandatory) - data extraction & validation
  • Advanced Excel (Mandatory) - analysis & rate testing
  • Insurance domain (pricing/rating systems) experience

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to Underwriting / Actuarial concepts
  • Experience in insurance product configuration / pricing models
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Exposure to front-end changes / integrations

Benefits & conditions

$45 - $48 an hour - Contract
