Senior Software Engineer/SRE - Security Platform & Detection Engineering

• Plan and build automation workflows supporting AI and Detection Engineering initiatives.
• Evaluate, onboard, and operationalise SaaS, Product, Affiliate, and Endpoint log sources.
• Design, develop, and maintain log ingestion, transformation, and normalisation pipelines.
• Extend and enhance custom integrations and data collection capabilities.
• Develop log health monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Monitor and improve the availability, reliability, and performance of security platforms and services.
• Build and maintain tooling and pipelines that support Detection Engineering and Security Operations.
• Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and technologies supporting security resilience.

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * Strong software engineering experience building and supporting production systems.

• Experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure-focused development.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience working within AWS environments.
• Experience building APIs, services, automation, and data processing pipelines.
• Understanding of monitoring, observability, and high-availability architectures.
• Ability to work across multiple technologies and quickly learn new tools and languages.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within cybersecurity, Detection Engineering, or Security Operations environments.
• Experience with Airbyte or similar data ingestion platforms.
• Familiarity with endpoint telemetry, EDR integrations, or security data pipelines.
• Experience with React, Node.js, or modern web technologies.
