Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who want to maximize their earnings over the next several months. Technicians can expect 40+ hours per week, with many locations offering significant overtime opportunities, paid travel time, per diem, and mileage reimbursement.
Work is organized based on where you live. Technicians are typically assigned projects within a regional territory rather than being sent randomly across the country. Travel is extensive and overnight stays are common depending on project schedules., * Install, troubleshoot, and repair IP video surveillance systems
- Install and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Install CCTV cameras, network switches, cabinets, and related hardware
- Run low-voltage cabling throughout distribution center environments
- Drill concrete walls and perform limited conduit installations when required
- Complete all wiring, connections, testing, and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot switches, routers, WiFi devices, and network connectivity issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, site maps, and installation drawings
- Work closely with Project Managers and Team Leads to ensure successful deployments
- Conduct testing and verification of newly installed systems
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have a valid Scissor Lift Certification certification?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, * Experience installing CCTV and IP video systems
- Strong Cat5e/Cat6 termination and testing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and site drawings
- Knowledge of MDFs, structured cabling, and network infrastructure
- Experience troubleshooting switches, routers, and wireless devices
- Access Control, voice, or data cabling experience is an asset
- Boom Lift and/or Scissor Lift certification preferred
- Ability to work at heights
- Basic telecommunication tools and PPE required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Computer, smartphone, and email proficiency
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to travel extensively
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- No DUI or DWI within the last 3 years
- Ability to lift 30-70 lbs safely
- Ability to work overnight shifts when required
