Job description

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions in a high-volume transactional environment supporting business-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to create and enhance database structures, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to determine solution feasibility, provide effort estimates, and deliver scalable database solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, documentation, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Create and maintain relational database objects such as tables, views, indexes, functions, and stored procedures.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries and database performance to support high-frequency transaction processing.
  • Apply database design and data modeling best practices to ensure data integrity, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Utilize database monitoring and profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
  • Support data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives using structured and semi-structured data formats.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable system performance and successful project delivery.

Requirements

Do you have experience in XML?, * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later) and T-SQL development.

  • Strong understanding of relational database design principles and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience developing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, indexes, and complex SQL queries.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and improve database performance in transactional environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL profiling, monitoring, and performance tuning tools.
  • Experience working with XML, JSON, and data reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
