Job description
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. You’ll plan and execute SharePoint migrations from legacy systems to modern SharePoint environments while also configuring, developing, and optimizing the environments clients depend on every day - intranets, Teams sites, document management, and Power Platform solutions., * Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ existing systems and SharePoint environments to determine migration requirements and identify risks early.
- Develop detailed migration plans, including content mapping, data migration strategies, and any customizations required for a successful move.
- Lead and execute SharePoint migrations with minimal disruption to client operations, following best practices and industry standards.
- Migrate sites using SPMT, ShareGate, Quest Content Matrix and other migration tools, and validate backup approaches for SharePoint Online.
- Oversee validation and testing of migrated content and applications to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Handle complex SharePoint configurations, customizations, and integrations during migration projects.
SharePoint and M365 responsibilities:
- Support, configure, and develop SharePoint Online environments, including client intranet portals, Teams sites, and program-related sites.
- Build and manage site architecture, document management, content types, metadata, and security in line with privacy and best-practice standards.
- Manage end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights; regularly review and clean up orphaned sites, external users, and stale content.
- Develop intranets, extranets, and business portals.
- Build and automate processes with Microsoft Power Automate, and develop standalone and SharePoint-connected apps with Microsoft Power Apps.
- Integrate third-party solutions into Microsoft 365 via the Power Platform.
- Transform business requirements into working M365 solutions, and support existing applications.
Client and team responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with users, stakeholders, and customers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert guidance throughout each project.
- Create documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials for clients and internal teams.
- Develop training materials and train users across a range of skill levels.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including client meetings and proposal development.
- Stay current with SharePoint and M365 advancements, folding them into our migration and solution strategies.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, You’ll work directly with clients, project managers, and our internal team to deliver migrations that are clean, low-disruption, and built to last. The ideal candidate has at least five years of dedicated SharePoint migration experience and a broad command of the wider M365 ecosystem., * At least five years of hands-on SharePoint migration experience and proven proficiency.
- Deep expertise with out-of-the-box SharePoint Online settings, features, and functionality - this is critical to the role.
- Strong experience developing intranets, extranets, and business portals.
- Solid command of Microsoft Teams and the Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps).
- Demonstrated ability to gather and document client requirements.
- Hands-on experience with SPMT, ShareGate, Quest Content Matrix and other migration tools., * 5 -7 + years of SharePoint experience
- Extensive experience with O365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of SharePoint tools
- Superb collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- Salary range of $100,000-$120,000, based on your experience and depth across migration, Power Platform, and intranet development.
- A real 32-hour, four-day work week - Monday through Thursday, 8:00 to 5:00, with every Friday off. Full-time pay, four-day week. No catch.
- A complete benefits package, including a 3% matching 401(k).
