Job description
DUTIES: Design and maintain scalable database systems across cloud and on-premise environments. Ensure data integrity, security, backups, and high availability through automation and best practices. Conduct performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and migrations across multiple platforms. Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support deployments and troubleshoot performance issues. Monitor and alert systems used to proactively manage system health. Utilize SQL Server Reporting Services and document database architecture and standards. Contribute to defining technology standards and building modern, resilient data ecosystems aligned with strategic objectives. Participate in capacity planning, cost optimization, and disaster recovery strategies for database environments. Review database changes for quality and stays current with emerging database technologies and cloud services to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System tuning?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, or in a related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience managing cloud and on-premise database platforms including Aurora PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and DocumentDB; database security, backup, and high availability best practices; automation, performance tuning, upgrades, and migrations; SSRS report development and database documentation; DevOps; and monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery planning.

- Employee discount, For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $154,669 to $169,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
