Job description

As a GIS Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing geospatial data to support various municipal departments. You will work closely with planning, public works, environmental, and emergency services teams to develop, maintain, and analyze GIS databases, maps, and applications that support the municipality’s goals.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Urban planning GIS projects?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Experience, Education, and Training

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geospatial Science, Planning, Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field;

OR

  • Associate’s Degree with significant course work in the above fields plus two years of responsible experience utilizing GIS software.

AND

  • Proficiency with ESRI Software Suite specifically ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro.

Licensing/Certification

  • Must possess valid driver’s license.
