Job description

OSA and SSS Academies are seeking a visionary and experienced Principal / Administrator to lead programs that integrate:

  • Onsite academic programs
  • Online and blended learning environments
  • STEAM and AI-focused learning initiatives

This role requires a leader who understands the intersection of traditional education, digital learning, and emerging technologies.

The Principal will lead faculty, collaborate with academic leadership teams, and ensure that students achieve both academic excellence and personal development., A. Academic & Instructional Leadership

  • Provide leadership to ensure strong student academic outcomes across all grade levels.
  • Supervise and evaluate instructional staff.
  • Ensure implementation of curriculum aligned with state standards and STEAM-focused education.
  • Support innovative teaching strategies including AI, digital learning tools, and technology integration.
  • Lead data-driven decision making to improve student achievement.
  • Support teacher growth through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.

B. Online & Blended Learning Leadership

  • Oversee the implementation and quality of online and hybrid learning programs through OSA.
  • Ensure strong integration between virtual instruction and in-person learning experiences.
  • Monitor student engagement, performance, and retention in online programs.
  • Support faculty in delivering high-quality digital instruction using modern learning platforms.

C. School Operations & Program Management

  • Oversee daily school operations including staffing, scheduling, and student services.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and charter school requirements.
  • Support enrollment growth and program development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams on budgeting, planning, and operational strategy.

D. STEAM, AI & Innovation Initiatives

  • Support PTAA initiatives focused on STEAM education and artificial intelligence learning programs.
  • Encourage integration of technology, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving into the curriculum.
  • Promote innovation in teaching, learning models, and student engagement.

E. School Culture & Community Engagement

  • Build a positive school culture focused on student success and leadership development.
  • Maintain strong communication with families, staff, and community partners.
  • Represent the school in community outreach and enrollment initiatives.
  • Promote the mission and vision of OSA, SSS Academies, and PTAA programs.

F. Staff Leadership & Professional Growth

  • Recruit, hire, and evaluate teachers and staff.
  • Lead professional development programs aligned with school goals.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork among faculty and staff.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Work Context

This position requires:

  • Leadership of both onsite and digital learning environments
  • Collaboration with academic and athletic program teams
  • Regular interaction with students, families, and community partners
  • Strategic planning and school growth responsibilities

Physical Environment

  • Work primarily in a school or academic program environment.
  • May require occasional outdoor supervision of student activities and athletic programs.
  • Ability to move around campus throughout the school day.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Principal Certification license?, Do you have experience in Student information system?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
  • Principal Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
  • Minimum 5 years experience in education
  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience (Principal, Assistant Principal, or equivalent)

Preferred:

  • Experience with online or blended learning programs
  • Experience working with charter schools or innovative education models
  • Experience supporting student-athletes or sports academy programs
  • Experience with STEAM or technology-based education programs

Technology Skills

Our schools operate as 21st-century learning environments. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with:

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Classroom, Drive)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Student Information Systems (SIS)
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Strategic planning and organizational management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
