Network Architect

Do you have experience in Zero trust architecture design?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Senior Network Engineer with experience in Network Design and Architecture:

• Experience in setting up and managing multi-location of OT and IT networks.
• Good experience with CISCO / Juniper networking devices , routers, switches, firewalls
• Experience in Azure or AWS Cloud and Cloud networking desired
• Experience with setting up Zero-trust using Z-Scaler preferred
• Good enterprise experience with Larger WANs and LANs and working with a team of Network engineers
• Design Experience (Must-Have): The candidate must have strong experience in designing enterprise networks-not just operations.
• SD-WAN Expertise: In-depth experience with SD-WAN solutions, specifically Silver Peak.
• Zero Trust & Zscaler: Hands-on experience with Zero Trust frameworks and Zscaler solutions.
• Operational Technology (OT) Network Experience (Preferred): While not mandatory, exposure to OT networks in a manufacturing environment is valuable.
• Firewall & Ports/Protocols Knowledge: Solid experience with firewall solutions and understanding of ports and protocols.
• Network Architecture Design (Must-Have): The candidate must document network architecture thoroughly and have experience segregating OT and business networks.
• Vendor Experience: They are currently using Cisco or Juniper, so deep experience with either is crucial.
• Enterprise Experience (Preferred): Candidates with enterprise-level networking exposure are ideal.
• Documentation Skills (Must-Have): Must be able to clearly document all network designs, standards, and architecture.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in MIS, Computer Science, or other related field preferred
• 7+ years of network engineering experience, prior experience in large-scale or enterprise environments preferred.
• Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, JNCIP, AWS/Azure networking).
• Advanced experience with routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking platforms (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent).
• Experience with WAN technologies, including MPLS, SD-WAN, and Internet-based connectivity.
• Deep understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and zero-trust principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP - VNET/VPCs, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SNMP, NetFlow, packet capture).
• Working knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
• Strong documentation and diagramming skills (e.g., Visio or equivalent).
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architecture decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a calm approach to incident response.
• Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels as required.
• Speak to an audience with confidence, using appropriate communication skills/style.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in oral and written form, to various audiences.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
