Job description
The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of a modern enterprise workflow application using cloud technologies. Serving as a servant leader for an Agile team, you will be responsible for:
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Supporting and coaching the Agile team, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices, enabling successful application delivery.
- Promoting self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Working with Product Owners to ensure refined and prioritized backlogs and sound work planning efforts.
- Monitoring team progress and identifying opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and predictability.
- Supporting the adoption and transformation of Agile methodologies across the organization.
- Fostering a collaborative team culture that prioritizes transparency, communication, and continuous learning.
- Assisting in the management of inter-team dependencies, risks, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
- Encouraging Agile principles in daily work, guiding team members to practice continuous improvement and deliver quality results.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workplace dispute resolution?, * Proven experience as a Scrum Master, supporting teams in Agile development environments and delivering enterprise-scale workflow or business applications.
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum, as well as Kanban and SAFe.
- Strong experience coaching teams through Agile transitions, promoting self-organizing and high-performance behaviors.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with Product Owners for effective backlog management, prioritization, and planning.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile engineering practices and techniques, including:
- Writing and managing User Stories
- Continuous Integration & Continuous Testing
- Automated Testing
- Pair Programming
- Agile Games and facilitation techniques
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to remove impediments and resolve team roadblocks.
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations and fostering stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery for cloud-based development initiatives (preferred).
- Familiarity with enterprise workflow management platforms and/or business process modernization initiatives (preferred).
- Successful track record of working with cross-functional teams within complex, dynamic environments (preferred)., * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading projects, programs, or major business initiatives.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT portfolio management, customer relationship management, or closely related functions.
- Active certification in one or more of the following (or closely equivalent):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- SAFe Certification
