Job description

This position supports a mission-critical federal program focused on enterprise IT portfolio rationalization, modernization, and governance within a federal agency’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Our team discovers, documents, and rationalizes a large and complex enterprise IT estate - spanning networks, infrastructure, applications, data, and identity - to establish an authoritative baseline and chart a clear path toward a consolidated, well-governed target state. We seek professionals who are not only technically proficient but also adaptable, analytical, and dedicated to excellence, ensuring that we continue to provide our clients with the best expertise available., The Senior Enterprise Architect is the senior synthesis role on the program, responsible for converting cross-domain discovery into target-state decisions the organization can act on. This role synthesizes findings from every workstream - network, infrastructure, cloud, data, identity, security, and service management - into clear keep, reduce, eliminate, and consolidate dispositions; runs application portfolio rationalization; and authors the target architecture, reference patterns, and transition roadmap. The Senior Enterprise Architect frames the efficiency and cost-avoidance basis that the government uses to apply cost figures, and ensures the resulting baseline becomes a reusable standard for future components and services. Collection is not the value - the decisions are, and this seat owns them., This is a full-time, onsite role based in Washington, D.C., requiring availability during normal business hours, with occasional night and weekend work as needed based on program demands. The Senior Enterprise Architect carries the architecture and roadmap outcomes through the program’s later milestones, works closely with executive leadership and every technical workstream, and supports governance processes and milestone reviews throughout the program., * Synthesize findings from all workstreams into clear keep, reduce, eliminate, and consolidate decisions

  • Establish reusable reference patterns and standards for future components and services
  • Partner with all technical workstreams - network, infrastructure, cloud, data, identity, security, and service management - to align the target state
