Job description

  • Translate Federal IT cybersecurity, privacy regulations, standards, and compliance requirements into actionable Microsoft 365 security configurations.
  • Design, implement, document, and maintain secure, repeatable, and reliable configurations across Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Lead the deployment and optimization of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and identity solutions.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Entra environments.
  • Develop and enforce security baselines, policies, and governance frameworks across Microsoft 365 platforms.
  • Conduct security assessments, configuration reviews, and compliance validations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration guides.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and operations teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-priority incidents and support requests.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security posture, operational efficiency, and compliance readiness.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and management of secure Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience translating Federal IT cybersecurity and privacy requirements into secure, compliant, and scalable Microsoft 365 configurations. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft security, compliance, identity management, and DevSecOps best practices, along with strong troubleshooting and technical leadership capabilities., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 security and compliance solutions.
  • Proven experience translating Federal IT cybersecurity and privacy regulations into technical controls and configurations.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 security architectures.
  • Experience supporting highly regulated government or enterprise environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.

  • Exposure to cloud security architecture and enterprise governance programs.
