Job description

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with file processing and scheduling.
Potentially document logic and processes related to data integration.
Contribute to modernizing the tech stack, possibly migrating away from VisualCron.
Focus on ensuring the smooth flow of financial data (enrollment files for client’s revenue and claims for client services).
Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

Technical Skills:
Experience with scheduling and file processing, particularly in integration (VisualCron is a plus, but not strictly required).
Familiarity with EDI Fabric or other .NET-based tools for transaction organization.
Strong SQL experience, including building stored procedures or database views.
C# and .NET classes for API integration.
Must have experience of ANSI 834 (enrollment) and ANSI 837 (claims) transaction formats.
Ability to reverse engineer systems and understand business logic.
Experience with tools like Splunk (for log analysis) is a good indicator of problem-solving skills.
Domain Knowledge:
Experience in the insurance or healthcare market, particularly with TPAs, is highly valued.
Understanding of benefit accumulators and pharmacy vendors (PBMs).
The domain knowledge is considered more important than specific tool experience.

Proactive in identifying and addressing issues rather than waiting for complaints.

Ability to document processes and communicate effectively with others.
