The UAT Test Lead / Coordinator is part of the Test Management Organization and plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality software through effective User Acceptance Testing. This remote position coordinates and drives UAT activities and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing UAT efforts, including the creation and maintenance of UAT plans, schedules, and test scenarios to validate business requirements and ensure readiness for production. This role facilitates collaboration across business and technical teams, manages UAT execution, tracks progress and defects, and ensures timely resolution and retesting., * Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large enterprise programs, including UAT planning, execution, and status reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to ensure UAT scope, timelines, and acceptance criteria are met.
- Support onboarding and coordination of UAT testers and business participants.
- Oversee UAT execution, defect tracking, and issue resolution, escalating risks and blockers as needed.
- Provide clear, concise written and verbal communication to Business and IT leadership.
- Ensure UAT deliverables are completed on time, with high quality and attention to detail.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities across project and non-project work with guidance from the QA Manager
Requirements
Do you have experience in Waterfall software development?, * 6 -12 years of experience in retail technology initiatives, * 6 -12 years of experience in retail technology initiatives, including Omni-Channel, Order Management, and Warehouse Management systems, with demonstrated UAT leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading User Acceptance Testing across complex enterprise integrations (eCommerce, OMS, Financial, and WMS systems, POS).
- Strong background coordinating UAT activities across multiple teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Prior experience managing UAT readiness, including environments, test data setup, execution coordination, and defect triage.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
- Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Proficient with test and defect management tools such as HP ALM and Jira.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence.
- Ability to clearly communicate status and risk with Business and IT leaders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes that meet business and customer needs.
- Able to work independently, ask questions, seek answers and provide clear visibility to work and issues.
