Technical Lead - PostgreSQL

The on engineer to own PostgreSQL database operations on AWS-covering provisioning, performance tuning, high availability, automation, monitoring, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate blends deep Postgres administration with AWS platform expertise, uses Infrastructure as Code, and thrives in a production support environment with strong incident management and continuous improvement mindset.

Do you have experience in Terraform?, 5+ years of AWS experience 5+ years Cloud/AWS/Terraform and POstgreSQL expertise Database Operations (PostgreSQL) Administer and optimize PostgreSQL across Amazon RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL and EC2/self-managed (where applicable). Perform performance tuning: query plans, indexes, vacuum/analyze, autovacuum tuning, connection management (PgBouncer), partitioning, statistics, and parameter tuning. Own backup/restore, PITR, logical/physical replication (streaming, logical decoding) and cross-region DR strategies. Implement and maintain HA (Multi-AZ, Aurora clusters, Patroni or equivalent), DR runbooks, and failover testing. Mandatory Skills: PostgreSQL .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
