IT Technician - Claremore

• Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and updates
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory, email, and business systems
• Set up new employees’ equipment and assist with offboarding IT access
• Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and documentation
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or vendors as needed
• Assist with routine system maintenance, backups, and security practices
• Support basic cybersecurity measures (patching, antivirus, MFA support)
• Provide clear communication and customer-focused support to end users

Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or help desk role
• Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Mac experience a plus)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.)
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation
• Exposure to cybersecurity best practices
• Experience supporting ERP, CAD, or manufacturing software (if applicable)
