  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (ADO) to support HFD’s deployment cadence across multiple environments
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes in coordination with our SRE team
  • Collaborate with Engineering leads on platform reliability and integration delivery
  • Partner with our Security team to implement cloud security controls, support PCI DSS compliance initiatives, and drive cost optimization across Azure services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues, contributing to incident response and root cause analysis
  • Mentor junior engineers and contractors and contribute to DevOps culture across the organization
  • Support evaluation and optimization of Azure Reserved Instance strategies and cloud cost efficiency

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Cloud and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure-as-code solutions. You will report to the Director of IT Operations and collaborate closely with our DevOps, SRE, Security, and Engineering teams. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the center of HFD’s infrastructure reliability and delivery velocity., * 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Identity, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a Hybrid Cloud environment. (Cloud and “On-prem” Data Center)
  • Expertise in Terraform/terragrunt for infrastructure-as-code.
  • Expertise with Kubernetes clusters, and containerization both in the cloud and on-prem.
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipeline design, Helm charts, Ansible and automation
  • Experience with scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools including Datadog and Azure Monitor
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and be self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Beginner / Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
  • Exposure or moderate experience with .net environments preferred.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance requirements and cloud security frameworks
  • Knowledge of DORA metrics and deployment/release management practices
  • Experience with PagerDuty or similar incident management platforms
