Job description
We are seeking an experienced System Architect Lead to support the implementation of a large-scale Case Management System. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience designing, implementing, and guiding enterprise case management solutions of similar scope and size. This role will serve as a key technical leader throughout the project lifecycle and must be available during agreed-upon project timelines when architectural leadership is required., The System Architect Lead will be responsible for defining the overall technical architecture, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements, supporting integration planning, and providing technical guidance across project teams. Experience with Microsoft Azure architecture is required., · Lead the architecture, design, and technical implementation strategy for a Case Management System.
· Provide architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
· Ensure the solution architecture supports scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, vendors, and agency leadership to translate requirements into practical system architecture.
· Develop and maintain architectural documentation, technical diagrams, integration designs, and implementation standards.
· Guide technical decision-making related to system configuration, data flows, integrations, cloud services, and application components.
· Support risk identification and mitigation related to architecture, system design, technical dependencies, and implementation sequencing.
· Ensure the Case Management System aligns with project scope, timeline, and agreed technical requirements.
· Participate in project meetings, design sessions, technical reviews, and milestone checkpoints as needed.
· Be available during agreed-upon project timeline activities that require System Architect Lead involvement.
· Provide expertise in Azure-based architecture, including cloud infrastructure, application services, identity, security, data, and integration services.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, · Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with the implementation of a Case Management System of similar scope and size.
· Demonstrated experience serving in a system architect, solution architect, technical architect, or similar leadership role.
· Strong experience with Microsoft Azure architecture.
· Experience designing enterprise-level systems involving multiple integrations, data exchanges, user roles, workflows, and security requirements.
· Ability to lead technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong understanding of system implementation methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
· Experience creating architecture documentation, technical designs, and implementation guidance.
· Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, vendors, client stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong on-site availability in Jefferson City, Missouri.
· Experience implementing case management systems for government, public sector, healthcare, legal, human services, or similar regulated environments.
· Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, or related services.
· Experience supporting large-scale modernization or system replacement initiatives.
· Familiarity with security, compliance, data governance, and accessibility requirements in public sector environments., · The ideal candidate is a senior technical leader with proven experience implementing complex Case Management Systems and designing Azure-based enterprise solutions. They are comfortable working directly with stakeholders, guiding technical teams, documenting architecture decisions, and ensuring that the final solution meets business, technical, and operational needs., * Do you have any experience implementing a Case Management System?
