Senior SAP FICO Consultant - Product Costing (MTO & AVC)

Wipro / Rizing is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing to support complex Make to Order (MTO) and multi plant manufacturing environments for global clients. This role requires strong hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA Product Costing, tightly integrated with Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) to support highly configurable, engineered, and customized products. As part of Rizing’s SAP delivery organization, the consultant will work closely with client Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, audit ready costing solutions aligned with Wipro delivery standards and best practices., SAP Product Costing & Controlling (CO)

• Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Product Costing with a strong focus on Make to Order (MTO) business scenarios

• Configure and support:

• Standard cost estimates and configurable material costing
• Cost component structures and valuation variants
• Material Ledger and Actual Costing (where applicable)
• Enable accurate costing for variant driven and custom products using AVC controlled BOMs and routings

MTO, Multi Plant & AVC Integration

• Support Make to Order and Configure to Order manufacturing models across multiple plants

• Ensure tight integration between Product Costing and Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), including:

• Variant specific BOM and routing determination
• Costing of configurable characteristics and options
• Cross plant cost rollups and inter plant valuation impacts

• Design and support costing scenarios spanning:

• Multiple manufacturing locations
• Sourcing strategies and plant selection logic
• Cross plant production, stock transfers, and settlement

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration

• Integrate product costing with:

• Production Planning (PP)
• Variant Configuration (VC / AVC) driven manufacturing
• Procurement and inventory valuation

• Support execution processes including:

• Work in Process (WIP) calculation
• Variance analysis (price, quantity, usage, mix, configuration driven variances)
• Period end settlement and inventory reconciliation

Financial Close, Inventory & Margin Analysis

• Enable accurate inventory valuation, COGS recognition, and profitability analysis for custom and configurable products
• Support month end, quarter end, and year end close activities in multi plant environments
• Partner with client finance teams to support audits, compliance, and financial governance

Delivery & Client Engagement (Wipro / Rizing)

• Act as a trusted delivery consultant aligned to Wipro / Rizing delivery methodology and governance
• Translate complex client requirements into SAP standard, scalable costing solutions
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, PP, MM, and AVC leads to ensure end to end process integrity
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to MTO costing, multi plant valuation, and AVC integration

Testing, Cutover & Support

• Lead and support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for:

• MTO scenarios
• Variant driven costing
• Multi plant manufacturing flows
• Support data validation, cutover execution, go live readiness, and hypercare
• Provide ongoing optimization and production support post go live

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong specialization in Product Costing
• Proven hands on experience with Make to Order (MTO) manufacturing environments
• Strong experience supporting multi plant costing and inter plant scenarios
• Solid understanding of Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) and its impact on BOMs, routings, and costing

• Deep knowledge of:

• Standard and actual costing
• Material Ledger
• Cost component split and variance analysis
• Strong integration understanding across CO, PP, MM, and AVC

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions for engineered, configurable, or premium consumer products
• Prior experience with variant driven manufacturing and pricing
• Experience working in Wipro, Rizing, or large SI global delivery models
• Client facing consulting experience with onshore/offshore collaboration
