Job description

We are seeking a dedicated full time Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. You will be responsible for providing frontline support for all office computers, mobile devices, printers, and network devices. You will work with other IT staff to install, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment and support employees across our organization and with our contracted case management organizations. This position reports to the Technical Support Supervisor.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support to all PSF, affiliated entities, and contracted partners.
  • Set up, maintain, test, install, and repair personal computers, mobile devices, networks, and related equipment.
  • Install add-on computer peripherals, test for correct functioning, and make all appropriate network connections.
  • Install, patch, and upgrade Windows operating systems and Windows-based software and hardware.
  • Perform in-person and remote support of all PSF, affiliated entities, and contracted partners.
  • Set up and support wireless systems.
  • Provide IT training to new hires as needed.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: One (1) year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One technical Certification (i.e., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional) preferred.
  • Possession of a valid, State of Florida driver’s license to operate the motor vehicle operated; Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment.

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and Ethernet connectivity.
  • Familiarity with client information system software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of departmental operations, policies, and procedures
  • Understanding of modern office practices, protocols, and administrative standards.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and responsiveness.
