Job description

Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and analytical needs.
Develop logical data flow diagrams representing data movement across source systems, integrations, and consumption layers.
Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to translate requirements into scalable data architectures.
Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices.
Perform hands-on work with SQL and database platforms to validate models, optimize queries, and ensure data accuracy.
Review and optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Support data integration, ETL/ELT, and reporting initiatives with clear architectural guidance.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Provide architectural input for cloud, on prem, or hybrid data platforms.
Mentor junior architects and data modelers as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 12-15 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or related roles.

Strong expertise in data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical).
Proven experience creating logical data flow diagrams and data lineage documentation.
Hands-on proficiency with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, normalization, and denormalization.
Experience working closely with business, analytics, and engineering teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, Qualifications : BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
