Job description

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help design and build next-generation digital asset and wealth management platforms. You will work on high-impact systems that support tokenized markets, always-on trading environments, and AI-driven financial solutions.

This role sits within a fast-paced Agile team focused on delivering scalable, resilient, cloud-native applications supporting digital currency initiatives. What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and development of large-scale, distributed systems and APIs
  • Build and maintain RESTful services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Drive best practices across software engineering, architecture, and code quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions
  • Develop, test, and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows
  • Contribute to cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes (on-prem and/or public cloud)
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across initiatives
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and production support readiness
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on development with Java
  • 3+ years building and supporting APIs and microservices
  • Experience using modern developer tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building RESTful services with Spring Boot
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based workflows
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architectures
  • Experience with trading systems, market data, or FIX protocol
  • Familiarity with application security tooling (e.g., SonarQube)
  • Experience conducting code reviews and ensuring production readiness
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
