Software Engineer (LTI/LMS Integrations

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and expand integrations across our ecosystem. This role is heavily focused on Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standards and integration development. Successful candidates are likely to come from strong EdTech backgrounds where they’ve built integrations with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational platforms.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and develop backend services supporting educational platform integrations
• Build and maintain LTI 1.1 and LTI 1.3 integrations with major LMS platforms
• Support authentication, authorization, deep linking, and course provisioning workflows
• Participate in architectural decisions for interoperability initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across customer environments

• Production experience building LTI integrations
• Experience working with LMS ecosystems
• Understanding of OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and modern authentication patterns
• API design and distributed systems experience
• Hands on experience with Scala in a production environment
