Field Technician - IT Deployment, Install & Tagging

Apply and track asset tags on Chromebooks, laptops, and mobile carts

Inspect, audit, and verify device inventory within carts

Test devices for functionality (power, keyboard, screen condition)

Ensure carts and devices are charging properly

Deploy and organize devices into carts per project requirements

Install interactive flat panels (wall-mounted or mobile stands)

Power on and validate proper operation of all installed equipment

Perform basic troubleshooting (power, cabling, connectivity)

Transport and position carts and equipment in designated locations

Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records

Keep work areas clean and follow site guidelines

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Safety protocol adherence?, Basic technical experience with laptops, Chromebooks, or IT hardware

Mechanically inclined; comfortable using hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good communication and professionalism on-site

Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 55 lbs)

Reliable transportation required (daily travel to multiple sites)

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year of IT support, desktop support, or field technician experience

Experience with hardware installations or deployments

CompTIA A+ Certification (a plus)

Basic networking or troubleshooting knowledge

Additional Requirements:

Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Must pass background check

Must be punctual, dependable, and professional throughout the project
