Job description

Who We Are: At Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), we are committed to the people, progress, and pride of Iowa. IFBF is Iowa’s largest farm organization, established in 1918. We remain a statewide, non-profit grassroots farm organization dedicated to our mission of creating a vibrant future for agriculture, farm families, and their communities. We work for family farmers in areas critical to the success of their farm enterprises, from representing their public policy interests at the local, state, and national levels, to enhancing market opportunities and providing cutting-edge information to enhance their decision making abilities. In addition to working for farmers, we are strengthening rural communities, investing in youth and education, and promoting quality healthcare - serving Iowans in all walks of life.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver training to end users through a variety of formats, including one-on-one sessions, webinars, classroom instruction, and recorded materials.
  • Provide end-user support for software applications by responding to questions, troubleshooting issues and resolving requests in a timely and professional manner for external customers, departmental staff and other Farm Bureau personnel.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, including job aids, process guides, FAQs, and how-to-videos, to support consistent and effective system usage.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing user training, ensuring users can effectively navigate and utilize system tools, processes, and enhancements through clear instructions and guided learning.
  • Create and update training materials in alignment with system enhancements, releases, and changes to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor and manage support requests (tickets), ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and appropriately communicated to stakeholders and users with clarity and professionalism.
  • Identify recurring issues or training gaps and proactively deliver targeted training or solutions to improve user adoption and reduce support volume.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and business software applications required; experience with documentation and training tools and familiarity with ticketing systems.
