Job description
We are seeking a senior-level Workday Configuration Analyst to optimize and support our Total Rewards and Payroll ecosystem. In this role, you will act as the functional subject matter expert, configuring and aligning Workday Payroll, Advanced Compensation, and Benefits. You will work within a fast-paced environment to deliver seamless system updates, business process enhancements, and configuration support that directly impacts our workforce., * Lead the end-to-end functional configuration, testing, and deployment of updates within the Workday Payroll and Advanced Compensation (ACM) modules.
- Design, optimize, and maintain complex Workday Business Processes (BPs) to ensure efficient approval workflows and strict data governance across HR, compensation, and payroll cycles.
- Configure and support Workday Benefits Administration, ensuring medical, dental, and retirement deductions accurately flow into the payroll engine.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and delivering configurations based on user stories.
- Troubleshoot complex configuration defects, manage tenant security policies, and support bi-annual Workday release testing.
Requirements
- Workday Payroll Expertise: Proven hands-on experience configuring and maintaining the Workday Payroll module (including earnings, deductions, pay groups, and tax elections).
- Advanced Compensation (ACM): Direct experience configuring merit cycles, bonus plans, total rewards templates, and compensation eligibility rules.
- Workday Benefits Administration: Strong proficiency in configuring benefit groups, plans, coverage rules, and deduction mapping.
- Workday Business Processes (BPs): Advanced capability in designing, building, and troubleshooting condition rules and step configurations across Core HCM and Payroll BPs.
- Agile Framework: Minimum of 2+ years working actively within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
- Location: Must be local or willing to work hybrid/onsite in one of our target hubs: Plano, TX, San Antonio, TX, or Phoenix, AZ.
