Job description

The Director of Innovation Operations leads the operational execution of Biblica’s innovation lifecycle, moving digital products from validated prototypes into sustainable, scalable platforms. Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, this is a high-autonomy role for a leader who operates equally well at the strategic and execution levels.

This is a builder’s role in a lean team. You’ll own external partner coordination, hands-on product operations, and the systems that keep Biblica’s digital innovation portfolio performing and scaling - all while keeping work tightly anchored to our Last Mile First (LMF) priorities.

Reports to: Chief Innovation Officer Department: Innovation

What You’ll Own

  • Lead the full innovation lifecycle from prototype activation through production scaling
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for an external execution partner - defining scopes of work, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and managing budget
  • Directly configure, improve, and maintain digital products, tools, and workflows - not just oversee them
  • Design and implement operational systems, dashboards, SOPs, and governance for the innovation pipeline at scale
  • Translate Biblica’s strategic priorities into executable systems, and build many of those systems personally
  • Manage the Innovation Operations budget and independent contractor relationships

Requirements

Do you have experience in Standard operating procedures (SOPs)?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 5+ years in technical operations, IT management, or software management

  • Proven experience directing external partners or agencies to deliver technical outcomes
  • Hands-on AI fluency - including LLMs, workflow automation, and agent orchestration tools
  • Demonstrated ability to own both strategy and execution in a lean, high-autonomy environment
  • Strong systems thinking - you build the SOPs, you don’t just follow them
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Technology, or related field preferred
  • Rapid learner who is unintimidated by constantly evolving tools and platforms
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel up to 20% globally
