Job description

We are seeking a Senior CIAM Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Customer Identity and Access Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with authentication, authorization, identity federation, and customer identity platforms, helping deliver secure and seamless user experiences across digital channels., * Design and implement CIAM solutions supporting customer registration, login, profile management, and self-service capabilities.

  • Integrate applications with identity providers using industry-standard protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and SCIM.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and microservices supporting identity and access management functions.
  • Configure and customize CIAM platforms to meet business and security requirements.
  • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), adaptive authentication, and identity verification solutions.
  • Collaborate with security, product, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and federation issues.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring of junior engineers.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security posture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with CIAM or Identity and Access Management solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT, and SCIM.
  • Experience with one or more CIAM platforms such as:
  • Okta Customer Identity Cloud
  • PingOne for Customers
  • Microsoft Entra External ID
  • ForgeRock Identity Platform
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, or Google.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Relevant IAM or cloud certifications.
